Hi John — this is a Discourse forum, decade+ old open source forum software https://www.discourse.org/

It has a “login with ATProto” installed but it doesn’t write back to ATProto. That is an interesting potential future feature but would need a custom Discourse plugin built.

Found the link to here from this:-

And I kind of assume someone had developed a forum on top of the ATProtocol (/bluesky) platform.

But nobody as far I know have tried that yet.

Yep. Discourse is a battle tested community platform that we can use for longform discussion that can be indexed and linked on the web rather than endless Discord chats that mostly get lost.

There is a Smoke Signal Discourse and an ATProto Community one booting up.
