Just wondering it wouldn’t make more sense to merge this community with the larger and more active atproto community here https://discourse.atprotocol.community/. I see lexicon discussion coming up there too and honestly it’s where most of the activity seems to be so I would expect a bigger chance of participation there…
I have very little knowledge of who hosts or organizes what regarding these discourse forums but seems worthwhile to contemplate?
Agreed I know this has been raised before but I think it’s worth revisiting.
Maybe a year from now we will have a handful of interoperable AT-native group spaces that make it easy to hop between them, but Discourse as-is works best as a centralized community hub. There are just way more eyeballs and idle hands at our disposal on discourse.atprotocol.community
There are tools to facilitate this kind of merger:
I suspect the latter is the easiest, i.e. simply combining all the categories of this forum into one and exporting a whole category for import into discourse.atprotocol.community
